Mr. Flowers
Mr. Flowers is a lifelong learner and preeminent educator. He has over a decade of experience coaching students in public speaking and debate. He is a one-diamond coach in the National Speech and Debate Association and has coached over one hundred students to state championships and national recognition. Prior to becoming a teacher, he enjoyed a successful career as a collegiate debater, defeating Oxford University, London City College of Law, and Edinburgh University while representing the United States Parliamentary Debate team at the Montgomery Cup competition. Mr. Flowers also finished ranked in the top 25 of all collegiate debaters in his junior and senior years of college. In order to achieve success, Chris approaches every class with a specific, observable objective in mind. He values rigor but also recognizes the importance of fun in the class to keep students motivated and enjoying the material. When he’s not training students to become better debaters, Mr. Flowers enjoys spending time with his wife Andrea, and his two children, Chris Jr., and Aiden. They enjoy the great outdoors in their home state of Arkansas hiking and fishing often.
