One of our long-time students, an 8th grader from NJ who is really interested in liberal arts and politics became interested in debate during his final year of middle school. He did not have any previous debate experience, and so he enrolled in not only a number of small-group classes but also 1:1 tutoring with our debate coach. Through hard work and extensive coaching, he was able to attend the 2021 Harvard Debate Tournament, and is now preparing for the MSTOC in May 2021. With an impressive profile and successful debate experience, he was recently accepted to a top private boarding school - Lawrenceville.
