Maccabee Academy’s services go beyond small-group lessons and tutoring. One of our long-time consulting clients, who we arranged a summer in NYC for in 2018, moved from China to Singapore in 2019 and needed support adapting to a new school. For the first semester, the student was put in the ELL track because of English Proficiency. After a summer of intensive reading and writing lessons with Maccabee Academy, at the beginning of Fall 2020, the school assessed him to no longer need ELL support. Most importantly, he passed the entrance exam exam for a top international school and was accepted!
