Ms. Block

Ms. Block is the Director of Debate of the nationally-ranked debate team at the historic Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is a member of the executive board of the National Debate Coaches Association, Immediate-Past President of the Arkansas Communication and Theatre Arts Association, and a One-Diamond Coach with the National Speech and Debate Association. Mrs. Block is the coach of the 2016 Top Speaker in the country, and the 2016 National Championship Finalist Team. She is a graduate of Hendrix College, where she received Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Literature and History, and of University of Arkansas, where she received her Master of Education in Secondary Education and has completed doctoral work in Higher Education. She is the current National Debate Coach of the Year as well as Arkansas’ Speech and Debate Educator of the Year.
