Debate Camp

This is an Intro to Debate summer camp for students with limited or no experience who are interested in learning to debate competitively. This course is led by award-winning instructors and former Arkansas competitors with proven success in state and on the national stage.  

In-person and online courses available.

What You'll Learn:

In this 12 day camp experience, debaters will learn the fundamental skills they’ll need for competitive debating.

Debaters will learn how to formulate their ideas into logical arguments and how to generate new ideas based on research.

The camp will consist of several practice debates with a final debate at the conclusion of the camp. Students will be prepared to debate at local competitions upon completing this course.

Beginner Debate

Classes are Monday through Friday only.
Half day and full day options are available.

Warm Up/Attendance (100 minutes)
